Acts 17

I have found the way
Now I rarely stray
Like a lamb in the midst of wolves
There’s no chance if I fight alone
And can’t run any better
But I love you good shepherd
And I’ll trust you forever

Like we’re on a farm
We’re not far from harm
Here, the lion could fool the sheep
into heading down to a stream
Since he’s hungry he gets some
But I love you good shepherd
And I’ll trust you forever
We are somewhat inseparable

He was led a sheep to the slaughter
and like a lamb dumb before his shearer

Kind of on my own
Like I’m far from home
Off I go to explore alone
But you know since you’ve made me go
You’ve come up with new testing
But I love you good shepherd
And I’ll trust you forever
We are somewhat inseparable
Pure like gold I’m perfected

In the final storm
listen while you mourn
’cause the Lord’s the destroyer now
as he growls and he plows through towns
Yet the judged ones don’t sense this
But I love you good shepherd
And I’ll trust you forever
We are somewhat inseparable
Pure like gold I’m perfected
Yours to hold at your pleasure

So he opened not his mouth
in his humiliation his judgment was taken away

Gathered up for war
as you keep me warm
’cause the world has been set to fall
all divided, against the wall
but in trouble together
But I love you good shepherd
And I’ll trust you forever
We are somewhat inseparable
Pure like gold I’m perfected
Yours to hold at your pleasure
Born for home long I’ve treasured

Underneath your wing
Something we can sing
I’ll sing on, till your trumpet plays
Then be solemn on Judgment Day
Such an ugly long section
But I love you good shepherd
And I’ll trust you forever
We are somewhat inseparable
Pure like gold I’m perfected
Yours to hold at your pleasure
Born for home long I’ve treasured
Walk high roads till I get there

Who shall declare his generation?
because his life is taken from the earth
