Happy birthday, Jesus!
The sabbath is here for us
my Rest, here, and forgiveness
I have to worship you
the Rescuer of sinners
It’s peaceful being here with you – just you –
Lord Jesus, here, in Winter
Merry Christmas, Jesus!
Your seasons for this and that
but you are all we’ll worship
Our altars, we want filled
but you’re the one deserving
Your sheep is not so meek but love’s in view
we celebrate your birthday
You’re the Christmas Spirit
Don’t listen to me, sometimes
but I know I desire
this Winter by your side
you hide me through the trials
My teeth are chattering but soon with you
inside’s your roaring fire
The world is far from one, now
but we will stick together
Its mountains are now crumbling
but we will live forever
Merry Christmas!
