Jesus’s friends obey
and that is His way to witness
Jesus is returning
This, we, all, are learning
He will, soon, return here
as the world is burning
And the world is churning
Jesus is returning to earth
Satan’s nation’s crumbling, now
As the Lord is working in church
Satan’s nation’s tumbling down
Tasked in places shaking
all his church is serving
as her faithful Savior
causes her to worship
Soon, the great Temple appears
Hated assemblies cheer
Shaking, the enemy quakes
They have no Friend far or near
You will, soon, be returning, it’s clear
to a time of such wonder and fear
Give us more than new ears just to hear
Grab the wheel, Holy Spirit, and steer!
