God’s Way Is Holiness

There was a man who would explore
He wouldn’t stop but knocked down doors
He travelled far and travelled wide
He flew to stars, all through the sky
He flew so high, so far from home
and there he felt alone
so very alone

He drove his car down treacherous roads
and was betrayed, and by his own
By shady trees and many weeds
in narrow streets where devils speak
the Savior reached and took control
No longer all alone
the Lord brought him home

O God, your way is holiness

He’s battle-scarred but now he’s armed
From Zion he’s come down with God
From Zoan he has seen some things
like Christ is God and he is King
The Holy Spirit counsels, so
he never is alone
Together, they roam

O God, your way is holiness

I will remember the works of Jah
surely I will remember your works of old
