Jehovah’s Narrow Road

I see no choice but to stay
on Jehovah’s narrow road
I see no choice but to keep staying on
Jehovah’s road

The landscape on the road is ugly
in some of the places
And the people there are frightening
they are blind
But hold on to your seat and listen
to all he’s been saying
as he leads you and enlightens you
late at night

I see no choice but to stay
on Jehovah’s narrow road
I see no choice but to keep staying on
Jehovah’s road
Eventually, he’ll get us to
our perfect, eternal home
our beautiful, peaceful home

There’s work to do…
There’s work for me and you

The main thing on the road’s obeying
directions he’s giving
’cause he’s more than just your tour guide
as you’re lost
he’s, actually, the Living Way here
so, actively, listen
or be boring parts of stories
that get tossed

I see no choice but to stay
on Jehovah’s narrow road
I see no choice but to keep staying on
Jehovah’s road
Eventually, he’ll get us to
our perfect, eternal home
our beautiful, peaceful home

The wise call it the high road
the Bible calls it the highway
but I call it Jehovah’s narrow road
and I think it’s the only way to go

Though travelling the road is hazardous
all gas is supplied since
God’s the final destination
through the gates
The energy for travel’s endless
just ask, and it’s given
This will find you on the Way where
you’ll do great

I see no choice but to stay
on Jehovah’s narrow road
I see no choice but to keep staying on
Jehovah’s road
Eventually, he’ll get us to
our perfect, eternal home
our beautiful, peaceful home
