Jesus, Lord Remember Me

When I think about how nobody wants
any of my business I cry
When some days I think Why should I go on?
I have lost my mission I cry

My heart cries

My soul
Will it always be like this?
Even for eternity
Jesus, Lord remember me

As I’m rotting with darkness all around
has nobody listened? I cry
While I’m dying here, this is just routine
just a part of business I cry

When rich people get blessed and I’m left behind
and hard people walk by while I’m left to die
Jesus, Lord remember me

When I noticed how everyone around
follows at a distance I cry
As I’m watching, Lord, trying to be brave
like your men and women I cry

We are all near criminals
Jesus, Lord remember me

I’m a small-time crook, myself, beyond all help
but since you’ve been to the end for me
to set me free (you set me free)
Jesus, Lord remember me

Please remember me

Happy Good Friday and Resurrection Sunday!

May the Good Lord bless us all, abundantly!
