He has redeemed us
Jesus was teaching and he is still teaching
Jesus was speaking and he is still speaking
Jesus was praying and he is still praying
up in Heaven by the Father today since
he’s not finished yet because
in all lands sin can be found
even Heaven, it’s all around
This, the redeemed know
Jesus was healing as we are now healing
Jesus was preaching as we are now preaching
Jesus was leading as we are now leading
He was walking on the water Believe! since
those who seek shall find although
in all lands sin can be found
even Heaven, it’s all around
To the cross, up, and then down
He’s redeemed the lost for his crown
We are the nation
Jesus was raising and he is the Maker
Jesus was praising and we are now praising
He is exalted and he is exalting
beautifying all the humble once lost with
his salvation even though
in all lands sin can be found
even Heaven, it’s all around
To the cross, up, and then down
He’s redeemed the lost for his crown
Thank the Lord! whose holy ground
you stand on
He’s redeemed us, jewels, for his crown
