There was a rebel or two in Heaven
Jesus had kicked out long, long ago
It was the devil and his friends that
Jesus had kicked out, this, we all know
God’s certainly lived longer
than everyone else
and certainly, been stronger

There was some sinning of sorts in Heaven
it is beyond doubt to all his kings
Men and now women are all kings and
it is beyond doubt, ruling with him
Jesus the King sits higher
than any other king
He’s certainly been wiser

God is the Groom now, all records show
Gone is the threat to spoil our wedding
God is the Groom now, his bride has known
The Spirit and the bride witness together
romancing of the kings
and certainly forever
Jehovah takes pleasure in those who fear him
those who hope in his mercy
