…and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.
Like eagles in the paths of the sky
men and women are sent for lessons
Our spirits will be filled with good things
we’ll receive if we get to heaven
The road’s our home if we’re soldiers who pray
The way’s the highway, the skyway’s the same:
it’s all a guy; it’s just one guy
His tower in this world will outlast
all that haters and takers waste now
His power’s in all places we go
not just now but forever, reigning
I hear the guns
so, I’m fearing and might roam
or seek to run
but I’m keeping to the road
Here, there is love
so then, where else should I go?
Now, there are always only two places:
his freedom, to obey, bravely
and bondage, to remain slaves here
No stepping off the road of pure gold
But who’s plodding on it, like pilgrims?
It’s winding, like the river of God
Help! my body can be unwilling
One might think it would be dangerous on the road
and not running off, to the side
but I’m staying on, for my life
so I won’t die
One high road
and one low one
One strong one
and one weak one
One honest one
and one deceitful one
Riding the lion’s back
and leaving the iron cage
Safe on the lion’s back
while breaking the iron cage
Ride the wild lion back to our place
And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?
And they came over unto the other side of the sea…
