The Large Place of Jehovah

My Jesus…You know I like the way that sounds
since Heaven’s throne is where I’m bound
But I’ve strayed when it’s not fun
from the way I didn’t trust
when you saved me with your blood
and each day you picked me up

Oh, Jesus, please throw some light on me tonight
With rule on rule and line on line
I have gone and studied truth
like a scholar’s meant to do
Digging dark and rugged roots
bearing lots of precious fruit

You want me to depend on you

The Bible says, “I called Jehovah from the darkness
He answered me in the large place of Jehovah.”

Oh, Jesus, it’s cold outside, please keep me warm
the world outside’s a gathering storm
With my worrying’s a bell
And my murmuring as well
of the workers straight from Hell
and how churchmen/women fell

And Jesus, please keep me right here by your side
my Husband, as your loving bride
What our enemies don’t like:
Your elect ones by your side
as you’re blessing left and right
to the end of this long night

Through evil times you show me signs

The Bible says, “I called Jehovah from the darkness
He answered me in the large place of Jehovah.”
