Know the past to know the present
Know the Lord to know the future
Most don’t know history and scriptures
so, they aren’t good citizens and Christians
and fail in their relationships
with both God and men and women
Even the rich know history
but they don’t know Jesus Christ
being too blind to scriptures
so, they all will be surprised
The prodigal son was like the poor man and he was
“dead, and lived again”
The older son was like the rich man to be so
“merry with my friends”
“I will walk before the face of Jehovah
in the land of the living
I believed; so, I speak
I was greatly afflicted
I said in my alarm,
All men are liars.”
Who will we join on to?
My eyes have seen with Christ’s humility
the cities will be tempting those in need
The broad way’s not for me
the cost is far too great
It tempts beyond compare
I’ll stick with him all day

and working in this place
As people stop and stare

We should treat these people with respect
