The devil had pride and said he’d be like
our Lord the most High and tossed from the sky
Hellbound
the garden was like the apple of eyes
the man and his wife obeyed for a while
Hell found
its first sucker, Eve, was badly deceived
then countless dumb men and women were sent
Hellhounds
they came here and begged us
then changed things and chained us
Here is the patience and the faith of the saints
On Christmas we sing of Jesus the King
and soon he’ll return with passion that burns
Faithful
The Husband with bride, she stuck by his side
their city’s her hope, she’s sticking real close
waiting
When enemies crouch and reprobates slouch
as Jesus brings out his people with shouts
grateful
since traitors that hate us
enslave but God saves us
Here is the patience of the saints
here are the ones keeping the commands of God
and the faith of Jesus
Merry Christmas to all of God’s saints!
I hope to meet you, all, someday
From Revelation 13:10 and 14:12 (KJ3 Literal Translation)
