Trust in Jehovah

By what shall a young man purify his way
to keep it according to your Word?
I have sought you with my whole heart
do not let me wander from your commands

They who trust in Jehovah shall be like Mount Zion
it is not shaken, it remains forever

Behold as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their masters
as the eyes of a maiden to the hand of her mistress
so our eyes look to Jehovah our God
until he shows grace to us

They who trust in Jehovah shall be like Mount Zion
it is not shaken, it remains forever
The mountains surround her, Jerusalem
and Jehovah surrounds his people
from this time and forever

Except that it was Jehovah who was for us
in the rising of men against us
The waters would have flowed over us
the torrent would have covered our souls

They who trust in Jehovah shall be like Mount Zion
it is not shaken, it remains forever
The mountains surround her, Jerusalem
and Jehovah surrounds his people
from this time and forever

Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler’s snare
the snare is broken and we have escaped
Do good things, O Jehovah, to the ones being good
to the upright ones in their heart

They who trust in Jehovah shall be like Mount Zion
it is not shaken, it remains forever
The mountains surround her, Jerusalem
and Jehovah surrounds his people
from this time and forever
