In a land of abundance that we cannot keep up in
Jehovah shall have his way
Take his hand and accept it, understand he’s our refuge
and live another day
Earth’s dividing and melting though so prideful it’s swelling
Jehovah shall have his way
We will climb with him, ruling, or we’ll slide into ruin
there is a better place
God is our refuge and strength
very much found to be a help in distresses
Nations roaring and shaking he is causing big changes
Jehovah shall have his way
All their wars he’ll be ending, we’ll exalt our good friend then
since this is not for slaves
He is in all his city as his river runs in it
Jehovah shall have things his way
In our midst he will show us, so be still, he says, knowing
with him we all are saved
There is a river
its channels gladden the city of God
the holy tabernacles of the Most High
As the masses are lacking his are satisfied as King
Jehovah shall have things his way
He’ll make glad all those serving, these are facts we are learning
as students every day
